Baby one more time

On my personal wish list, started when I was at the age of 12, are many many wishes. Some of them come true, like buying the perfect jeans (yearly event) Order the largest pizza (monthly) or cry because of laughter (weekly)

Some of my wishes are on my list for years; winning the lottery (as if) making a trip around the world (2015?) Getting married in Vera Wang (when?)

Some of my wishes seemed to be more realistic then I ever thought: Visiting Paris as many as I can (working on it) Knowing my way around in NY (busy) and last but not least; being front row at a Marc by Marc Jacobs fashion show (check!)
Last night his spring summer 2011 show was live streamed on his website and if you’d ask me, I had the best view ever!

Men, feel like a woman!

Checking out style.com –my favourite daily activity- I got inspired by one of the fall trends this season: His suit. Although you can definitely put me in the ‘girls who love to wear skirts and dresses’ corner, I guess I can pick up some little details of his suit. Carrie wore a tuxedo in her second movie, and me? I just got my own bow-necklace!


And that made me think.. when is Sex And The City available on DVD? Anyone?

The Dutch fashion illustrators Piet Paris will launcher the book: Piet Paris Fashion Illustrations.
Shown are 124 fashion illustrators, which will give you a look in history as well. From October the 15th you are able to buy the book but also to see the illustrations in the special occasioned expo, which is organised

Soon to be launched: A series of 6 postage stamps for TNT Post and the Aids Fonds Netherlands charity. The nationwide first day of issue is set for 12 October 2010. Fascinating but somewhat momentous, too. So start writing postcards again!

Happy meal

Tonight my two best friends will join me for diner. One of them just finished the University of Hospitality Management, so that girl can cook. The other one has grocery shopping as one of her favourite activity’s. And me? The only thing I successfully made in the kitchen is a mess!
Although I still don’t know what to make, I do know what to wear! ;) Well I guess everyone can excel in its own way!

‘Saint Laurent likes two types of woman: dream woman and real woman’

After missing the amazing YSL exhibition at the petit palais in Paris I received a present. Four hundred pages full of fashion. Not so sad about missing the exhibition anymore. This beautiful book gives away hundreds of secret never showed pictures, prints and sketches. One thing for sure; Yves was a man with taste. The book is now for sale and in the end of this month I’ll be visiting Paris anyway ;)

One day left of Summer

However the fall will start on 23th of September. Tomorrow will be one of the last summerdays. At least, if you would count festival wise. So what’s it gonna be? Lief festival or Valtifest? But, more important. What to wear?
