Mad Men is an American dramatic television series created and produced by Matthew Weiner. Mad Men is set in the 1960s, initially at the fictional Sterling Cooper advertising agency on Madison Avenue in New York City, and later at the newly created firm of Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce. The focal point of the series is Don Draper (Jon Hamm), creative director at Sterling Cooper and a founding partner at Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce, as well as those in his life, both in and out of the office. As such, it regularly depicts the changing moods, social mores, and political correctness of 1960s America. Besides the fact that the show is an intelligent supplement to all of the other existing television shows it is already a pleasure just looking at it. This fall a lot of designers got their inspiration by the show (Louis Vuitton, Prada) And I just found this funny site on where you can create your own online mad man character.
